
We invite you to the Operation UMI symposium (The 150th Foundation Anniversary Event) on Saturday October 10th.
This symposium will feature researchers from southern Hokkaido and overseas who will present the latest research findings on changes in the ocean caused by global warming. In addition, a panel discussion will provide an opportunity for researchers and local community members to exchange ideas and deepen dialogue.
《What is Operation UMI?》A collaborative initiative of Hokkaido University, the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa, and the Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology that advances education and research in oceanography.
