Project assist. prof. Tamechika gave a talk at a science cafe

We held a science cafe, “Discovering the fascinating world of marine life,” on August 29 at the Hakodate Community Design Center as part of the main program of the Hakodate International Science Festival 2026. She introduced the ecology of barnacles living on rocky shores and answered participants’ questions. Participants also enjoyed a hands-on activity to identify shell species commonly found on Hakodate’s beaches. Ten participants, from elementary school students to adults, joined the event. Thank you all for joining us!
