We held the 33rd science café “Journey Through the Arctic Seas with R/V Polarstern” at the Fisheries Science Library and Museum Complex, Hakodate campus on September 28. It was held as a post-event of the Hakodate International Science Festival and in collaboration with the Japan Ocean Society. Dr. Son presented her fieldwork and research in physical oceanography in the Arctic Ocean. A total eleven participants, including members of the public and university students, attended the event. We sincerely thank everyone for their participation.
